Glasshouse? Meet Stone-Thrower.

Careful readers will have noticed that I have - and regularly make use of - direct hotlines to many persons of great import, the "movers and shakers" if you will allow me a little sashay in the direction of the vernacular.

I must report on a snippet of one such conversation in which I am rebuked thusly:
"... pseudonyms are so yesterday ..."
My correspondent? Mr Seat.

Snigger.

Numptie,

I was about to welcome you to Infinitives Unsplit, but I note that you are, in fact, BondBloke and you have already been welcomed.

How nice to hear from you again.

We can all ponder on the wisdom of choosing "numptie" as a pseudonym....

As for whether the world is ready for the "real you", I doubt very much whether the world was really ever ready for me even when cloaked in a pseudonym. Removing the cloak is hardly likely to increase the shock value for one so punch-drunk anyway....

...but I enjoy living in the past. Greetings from sunny Italy - where the roses are out and the wisteria covers the walls.
