Hairy Haggis

Gah! I've been conned into running a section of the Edinburgh Marathon.

Still, it's about the best excuse I can think of to convince Lady P-G to lift her embargo on my buying a natty little wrist-mounted GPS receiver...

It would take more than a "natty little wrist-mounted GPS receiver..." to encourge me to run, and I am talking even for a bus here... I would want, at the very least, a top of the range digital SLR...

Have no fear, P-G, if all you have to do is run a section. Run as much of it as you want and then toddle off to your nearest favorite drinking hole. Remember that a marathon is 26 miles; a section of a marathon is anything portion smaller than that. A quick sprint down to the end of the block counts. Have fun!
