Yes, this is an excellent idea. I highly recommend Bath as a place to visit and these bath holiday cottages are excellent places to do so from.

That I grew up in Bath does not in any way make me biased on this point: rather, my background knowledge should make you rest assured that I know what I'm talking about.

Actually, I know just where one of those cottages is and it's an extraordinarily nice area to be in.
