What is it about politicians that they think they can get away with things?
The latest is Thomas Ravenel who bought, to give out to friends, a half kilo of cocaine.
Is there some thinking that there's one law for the poor black folk (possession, mere possession, of five grams of crack cocaine triggers a 5 year mandatory sentence, it has to be 500 grammes of powder cocaine for this to happen) and another for the rich white ones?
Well, given that Thomas Ravenel comes from one of the more powerful and rich political families inhhte State, perhaps so.
