As regular readers will know we've been renovating a house here. It's an old style place and we've been wondering whether we should have blinds or not for many people think that you shouldn't have them in period homes.
I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that they're wrong though, as I look through the options at Terry's Blinds.
Yes, there's roller blonds, Venetian, wooden and so on, but then I see the section on Roman blinds. So, if that technique of folding the fabric to make the blind is indeed Roman, then, well, given that a Roman house would these days be considered extremely "period", how can they not be suitable for period homes?
